Turkey launches video calling for ALO 199 Call Center

Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi has announced the launch of a new video calling service for the ALO 199 Call Center, specifically designed to assist citizens with hearing and speech impairments. Through this new application, users can connect directly via video with representatives who are proficient in sign language to manage appointments and obtain information.

In addition to the video calling feature, artificial intelligence technologies have been integrated into the ALO 199 system to enhance service quality and citizen satisfaction. The call center, operated by the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs, provides support for various administrative tasks, including Turkish ID cards, passports, driver's licenses, and address registration.

The service remains available 24/7, aiming to ensure equal access to public services through technological advancements.
