Turkey leads Polish organized holiday market with 28.3% share

Turkey has secured the top position in the Polish organized outbound holiday market, capturing a 28.3% market share, according to data from the Polish Chamber of Tourism. Kaan Kaşif Kavaloğlu, President of the Mediterranean Tourist Hoteliers and Operators Association (AKTOB), noted that Turkey leads ahead of Greece (18%), Egypt (13.6%), Spain (9.6%), and Bulgaria (7.5%).

The Turkish Riviera emerged as the largest regional destination, accounting for 21.6% of the market. Antalya has been a primary driver of this growth; the number of Polish visitors to Antalya increased by approximately 462% between 2010 and 2025, significantly outpacing the 347% increase seen across Turkey as a whole.

This growth is supported by expanding airline connections and increased international travel mobility. According to Polish official statistics, spending on overnight outbound trips by individuals aged 15 and older rose by 12.6% year-on-year, reaching 45.2 billion PLN in 2024.
