Turkey logs dozens of quakes across several provinces on 27 July 2026

The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and the Kandilli Observatory recorded a series of seismic events throughout Turkey on 27 July 2026. More than a dozen tremors were reported, ranging in magnitude from around 1.5 up to 11.9, with epicentres in locations such as Bingöl, Kırıkkale, the Aegean Sea, the Mediterranean, and the Marmara region.

The listings include specific readings for each event, for example a magnitude‑5.0 quake near Bingöl’s Pertek‑Yedisu district at 06:52, a magnitude‑7.2 shock near Delice, Kırıkkale at 06:40, and an 11.9‑magnitude tremor in the Aegean Sea at 06:30. AFAD and Kandilli provided depth and precise coordinates for each incident, making the data publicly available in real time.
