Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism to hire 162 librarians

The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism has announced the recruitment of 162 contracted librarians to serve in its provincial organizations. The hiring process will be conducted under Article 4/B of the Civil Servants Law No. 657, with final selections based on oral examinations.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in fields such as Information and Document Management, Librarianship, Archival Science, or Documentation and Information. A minimum score of 70 from the 2026 KPSS (B) Group KPSSP3 exam is required. Applicants are restricted to choosing only one province for their application.

Applications will be accepted electronically via the e-Devlet Kariyer Kapısı platform from November 2 to November 16, 2026. Major provincial allocations include 9 positions for Konya, 6 each for Ankara, Istanbul, and Diyarbakır, and various other quotas distributed across numerous cities including Isparta, Sivas, Aydın, Eskişehir, Antalya, and Bursa.
