Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism to hire 162 librarians

The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism has announced the recruitment of 162 contract librarians to serve in provincial organizations across 68 to 69 provinces. The recruitment will be conducted under Article 4/B of the Civil Servants Law No. 657.

Candidates will be selected based on their KPSS scores, followed by an oral examination. Applications are scheduled to take place between November 2 and November 16, 2026, via the Presidential Career Gate (Kariyer Kapısı) platform. Applicants are permitted to select only one province for their preference.

Specific quotas include 9 positions in Konya, 6 in Ankara, 6 in Istanbul, 6 in Diyarbakır, 5 in Artvin, 5 in Trabzon, 3 in Eskişehir, and 2 primary positions in Yozgat. General requirements for applicants include Turkish citizenship, being at least 18 years old, and meeting specific legal and military service criteria.
