Turkey Official Gazette publishes new regulations

The Official Gazette of Turkey published several new regulations and communiqués on September 16, 2026. Key updates include regulations regarding the control of solid fuels to protect air quality and amendments to rules governing air pollution caused by heating.

Other administrative changes involve the transport of live animals and animal products within the country, as well as updates to fishing communiqués for commercial and amateur aquatic species. The Turkish Food Codex also issued amendments concerning meat products and drinking milk. Additionally, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) released a decision, and technical regulations were established for cigarette paper.
