Turkey organizes youth events for summer Quran courses in Kars and Çaldıran

Police officers from the Kars Traffic Enforcement Unit conducted an interactive traffic‑safety workshop for children attending a summer Quran course. The program taught proper use of pedestrian crossings, traffic signals, seat‑belt importance and safe bicycle riding, and concluded with the students thanking the police and pledging to follow the rules.

In the district of Çaldıran, officials organized a football tournament for the same cohort of Quran‑course students, supported by the local education and youth‑sports directorates. District mufti Mehmet Faruk Geylani emphasised that the event was meant to foster friendship, respect and physical well‑being, stating, "Our aim is not the championship but the victory of brotherhood, respect and solidarity." Both initiatives aim to promote safety, health and community engagement among Turkish youth.
