Turkey Sets July 2026 Pension Payment Schedule and 14‑Day Difference for Retirees
The Ministry of Labour and Social Security will apply a staggered July 2026 payment schedule for civil‑servant and pensioner salaries. After the 13.52 % salary increase, civil servants receive the July salary on 15 July, while the 14‑day difference for the period 1‑14 July will be credited between 20‑24 July. SSK and Bağ‑Kur retirees will receive their adjusted salaries according to the last digit of their allocation number, with payments starting from 17 July and continuing through 26 July. The lowest pension has been raised to 23 552 TL, creating a one‑time 3 552 TL gap that will be paid once the legal amendment is published. In parallel, banks have launched cash‑promotion campaigns targeting retirees: ING offers up to 15 000 TL (potentially 32 000 TL with added benefits), VakıfBank up to 12 000 TL plus card incentives (totaling about 30 000 TL), and Ziraat Bank up to 12 000 TL. These offers aim to attract pensioners to transfer their salary accounts.
