Turkey Police Academy opens recruitment for 3,250 PMYO cadets
The Police Academy of Turkey announced that 3,250 seats will be filled for the 2026‑2027 Police Vocational Schools (PMYO). The quota includes 2,560 positions for male candidates, 630 for female candidates and 60 reserved for the spouses or children of martyrs and disabled personnel.
Applications are accepted from 7 to 13 August 2026 via the Academy’s official website using e‑Devlet credentials. Candidates must be Turkish citizens, have completed high school, and have scored at least 250 raw points on the TYT portion of the 2026 YKS (200 points for the families of martyrs/disabled). Age limits are 18 years old by 1 October 2026 and not older than 26 years by 1 January 2026. Height requirements are a minimum of 167 cm for men and 162 cm for women, and body‑mass index must be between 18 and 27. No examination fee is to be paid before the pre‑selection results are announced. Successful trainees will be appointed as police officers after completing their education.
