Turkey utility services face widespread planned outages

Multiple regions across Turkey are facing scheduled utility disruptions due to infrastructure maintenance, network improvements, and repairs.

In the electricity sector, widespread planned outages have been announced for several provinces. In Muğla, ADM Elektrik is conducting maintenance and network investments affecting districts such as Milas, Bodrum, and Marmaris. In Eskişehir, OEDAŞ has scheduled works in Sivrihisar, Çifteler, and Seyitgazi. İzmir is also seeing significant disruptions managed by GDZ Elektrik, covering districts like Bornova, Buca, and Aliağa for network upgrades and tree trimming. Additionally, Gaziantep and Biga are scheduled for power interruptions to facilitate network improvements and line maintenance.

In the water sector, Balıkesir is experiencing planned water outages in Ayvalık, Altıeylül, and Gömeç. The Balıkesir Water and Sewerage Administration (BASKİ) attributed these interruptions to main network faults and rehabilitation projects involving pressure monitoring management.
