Turkey promotes new educational model through school visits and industry summits

Turkish education officials are emphasizing the implementation of the ‘Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli’ (Century of Türkiye Education Model) through various regional visits and national summits.

In Nevşehir, Provincial Director of National Education Yusuf Yazıcı visited Gazi Secondary School to evaluate the application of the new educational model. The discussions focused on supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and physical development through integrated teaching programs and process-oriented assessment methods.

At a national level, the ‘National Competency Move: Youth Summit for Future Engineers and Technicians’ was held at Teknopark Istanbul. Organized by the Ministry of National Education in collaboration with the Presidency of Defence Industries and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), the summit highlighted the symbiotic relationship between education and technology. Deputy Minister of National Education Ömer Faruk Yelkenci noted that the new educational model aims to develop competent and virtuous individuals, integrating technical skills with moral values.
