Turkey sets July 2026 pension and civil‑servant salary hikes

Five‑month cumulative inflation data released by TÜİK (16.60‑16.61 %) fixes the base for the July 2026 wage adjustments. SSK and Bağ‑Kür retirees will receive a statutory increase of roughly 18 % (scenarios range from 18.35 % to 18.40 %). Civil‑servants and retired civil‑servants will see a raise of about 14 % (centred on 14.1 %).

The legal minimum pension, currently 20 000 TL, is projected to rise to roughly 23 600 TL if the current formula is applied, with no additional “seyyanen” (extra welfare) increase expected. The final rates will be confirmed after the June inflation figure is published on 3 July 2026.

Alongside the pension changes, the Ministry of National Defence announced that the bedelli‑service fee will rise from 416 361 TL to around 470 000 TL effective 1 July 2026.
