Turkey ranks first in TasteAtlas global skewer food rankings

TasteAtlas has released a global ranking of the best skewer-based dishes based on user reviews and gastronomy data. Turkey secured the top position with ‘çöp şiş’ being named the world's most preferred skewer dish.

Following Turkey, Italy's ‘arrosticini’ ranked second, and Japan's ‘negima yakitori’ took third place. The list features a diverse selection of international flavors, including Indonesia's ‘sate kambing’, Greece's ‘souvlaki’, Peru's ‘anticuchos de corazón’, and Saudi Arabia's ‘mabshoor’.

Other notable entries in the rankings include dishes from Nigeria, South Africa, Iran, and Portugal, highlighting a wide variety of global skewer cultures.
