Türkiye ranks second globally in international contracting firms

Türkiye has secured second place globally in the number of international contracting firms, according to the 2026 Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 250 International Contractors list. With 48 companies represented, Türkiye follows China, which holds the top position with 75 firms. This marks a record high for Turkish firms, increasing from 43 in 2024 and 45 in 2025.

In terms of project value, the Turkish contracting sector rose to seventh place globally, surpassing Japan, the Netherlands, and India. The total value of international projects undertaken by Turkish companies reached $24.9 billion, up from $20.8 billion the previous year. Turkish contractors accounted for 4.5 percent of the total project volume generated by the top 250 companies.

Within the rankings, seven Turkish companies entered the top 100, with two firms placing in the top 50. ENKA was identified as the highest-ranking Turkish firm at 46th place, followed by Rönesans at 50th and Limak at 51st. The global combined revenue for the top 250 contractors rose by 9.7 percent to $550.6 billion.
