Serbia and Croatia implement new fuel duty and pricing regulations

The Serbian government has extended a 20 percent reduction in excise duties on oil derivatives until August 23. Under this decision, the temporary excise rates are set at 61.24 dinars per liter for leaded gasoline, 57.60 dinars for unleaded gasoline, and 59.23 dinars for diesel.

In Croatia, new fuel regulations will lead to price increases for the upcoming seven-day period. The maximum retail price for gasoline will rise by seven cents to 1.63 euros per liter, while diesel will increase by nine cents to 1.80 euros per liter. Blue diesel is also set to rise by nine cents to 1.27 euros per liter. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices will also increase for both tanks and bottles. To mitigate these rises, the Croatian government has reduced fuel premiums by one cent for diesel and two cents for blue diesel, while maintaining existing tax levels.
