Aydın: Four suspects detained in fatal shooting of shopkeeper

In the Efeler district of Aydın, a 27-year-old shopkeeper named Ramazan Kurt was killed following a shooting at his mobile phone business on Adnan Menderes Boulevard. Investigations suggest the motive was a significant debt dispute, with allegations that a debt of approximately 20 million lira was at the center of the conflict.

Four suspects—Ahmet K., his son Emre K., and relatives Murat K. and Yunus K.—were taken into custody. The suspects reportedly surrendered to police after the incident. During legal proceedings, the suspects claimed they had intended only to harm Kurt but shot him in the chest due to panic. The suspects were transferred to court under heavy security presence.
