Notable declines are expected in dry onion production, which may drop by 30.8 percent, as well as in lettuce and fresh onions. Conversely, production for cucumbers, carrots, and cauliflower is expected to rise.
Other key projections include a 21.8 percent increase in sunflower production and a 5.8 percent rise in sugar beet production. In contrast, soybean production is forecasted to fall by 14.3 percent, and potato production is expected to decrease by 3.1 percent.
