Turkey revamps Karabük bus terminal, extends Bursa traffic scheme

The Karabük intercity bus terminal was completely renovated and reopened after upgrades that added air‑conditioning, modernized restrooms, a covered terrace, expanded parking and new commercial spaces. Mayor Özkan Çetinkaya said, "We are happy to fulfill another promise made during the election period," highlighting the project’s completion as part of the city’s transport‑infrastructure improvement plan.

In Bursa, the city’s intercity bus terminal traffic arrangement, which had been paused for a one‑month trial, was reviewed and the decision to keep the lane closure was confirmed by the Urban Transportation and Traffic Management Board (UKOME). The continuation aims to maintain smoother and safer traffic flow at the terminal entrance and exit.
