Turkey rolls out B‑Reçete system at Kars farmer briefing

An informational meeting on the newly introduced B‑Reçete System was held in Kars, Turkey. The session, hosted by the Kars Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, was attended by senior officials including Deputy Director General Dr. Yunus Bayram, Kars Provincial Director Enver Aydın, Ardahan Provincial Director Harun Akıllı, as well as regional directors, agricultural chamber heads and other sector representatives.

The B‑Reçete System, launched nationwide on 1 July 2026, requires plant‑protection products to be prescribed and recorded, aiming to increase traceability, curb misuse, protect public health, reduce environmental risks and boost agricultural productivity. Authorities emphasized the importance of farmer and stakeholder compliance to achieve reliable food production and sustainable crop management.
