Turkey schedules 1,506 extra flights for Eid al-Adha travel

Turkey's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that, to accommodate the surge in passenger demand around Eid al‑Adha, a total of 1,506 additional flights will operate from 21 May to 3 June. Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said 1,214 of those flights are domestic routes and 292 are international.

The extra capacity is part of a broader effort to increase transport services during the holiday period, with the ministry also boosting road and rail operations to help citizens reach families and hometowns more easily.
