Turkey schedules power cuts in Nevşehir and Manisa on July 7
On July 7 2026, the Turkish electricity grid operator announced planned maintenance that will cause prolonged outages in several villages across Nevşehir Province. In Acıgöl district, Karacaören village will lose power from 09:00 to 17:00; in Gülşehir district, Yeşilöz village will also be without electricity during the same hours. Additional short‑term cuts are planned for Hacıbektaş (10:00‑11:00) and Ürgüp (10:00‑13:00) districts, as well as multiple neighborhoods in Nevşehir central district between 09:30 and 15:30.
A separate schedule released by Gediz Elektrik for Manisa Province lists dozens of villages in the districts of Akhisar, Gördes, and Yunusemre where outages will run from early morning until late afternoon on the same day. The outages are tied to network renewal and maintenance work, and residents have been advised to prepare for loss of power to appliances, heating, refrigeration, irrigation equipment and business operations.
Both announcements stress that the cuts are temporary and will be restored once the maintenance is completed.
