Turkey schedules extensive electricity outages in multiple provinces on July 10‑12, 2026
On July 10‑12, 2026, several Turkish electricity distributors will carry out network renewal and maintenance that will lead to scheduled power cuts across multiple provinces.
UEDAŞ announced planned interruptions in 14 districts of Bursa, including detailed hourly outages in Nilüfer, Osmangazi, Yıldırım and outlying districts such as Gemlik, Gürsu, İnegöl and others.
Gediz Elektrik issued a program for İzmir, specifying that 16 districts – Aliağa, Bergama, Balçova, Bornova, Buca, Dikili, Foça, Karabağlar, Karaburun, Karşıyaka, Kiraz, Menemen, Narlıdere, Seferihisar, Torbalı and Urla – will face outages of varying lengths, some lasting up to ten hours.
In the Black Sea region, the local provider listed dozens of neighborhoods in Trabzon’s districts of Ortahisar, Vakfıkebir, Araklı, Sürmene, Of and others that will lose electricity for several hours on July 10 due to "operation maintenance" and "investment" works.
Turgutlu municipality also warned of electricity interruptions on July 11‑12 affecting numerous streets and quarters.
All entities urged residents to prepare by charging devices, limiting refrigerator openings and following any updated information from the utilities.
