Turkey aims for a more just international order, says Fidan

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Turkey will continue its efforts to protect national interests, strengthen regional stability, and contribute to a “more just international order.”

Following the high-level week of the UN General Assembly in New York, Fidan noted that the Turkish delegation, led by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, engaged in intensive diplomatic activity. This included numerous bilateral meetings involving Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials and other institutions to represent Turkish interests.

Fidan highlighted Turkey's involvement in addressing urgent global challenges, specifically mentioning Palestine, climate change, food security, mediation, and migration. Additionally, Turkey presented its priorities for the upcoming COP31 climate summit, which the country is set to host.
