Turkey cigarette price hikes push top brand to 140 TL

Effective 6 August 2026, major tobacco manufacturers in Turkey raised retail prices for most of their cigarette lines. Philip Morris announced a new price list with its most expensive product, Parliament Midnight, reaching 140 TL, while other Philip Morris brands such as Marlboro and Muratti were set between 120 TL and 130 TL. Japan Tobacco International (JTI) also increased prices for its Winston, Camel and LD ranges, typically by about 10 TL; Winston variants now sell for 120‑130 TL and Camel products rose by 8‑12 TL. The only product exempt from the hike is Camel Yellow 100 g loose tobacco, which remains at 285 TL. In addition, a 50 g pack of cut tobacco was priced at 150 TL. The coordinated price adjustments represent the third wave of cigarette hikes this month, affecting retailers nationwide.
