Turkey sees motorcycle assault in Istanbul and crane crash in Muğla

In Istanbul's Beyoğlu district, 30‑year‑old Ahmet K. entered the street half‑naked and jumped in front of a moving motorcycle. After a brief confrontation with the rider, Ahmet K. fled and was beaten with clubs, sticks and kicks by by‑standers before being detained for property damage. He was later released on judicial control.

In Muğla's Menteşe district, a motorcycle collided with a crane on Uğur Mumcu Boulevard. The rider, identified as Z. C., managed to push himself out from under the crane at the last moment, avoiding serious injury. Emergency services treated minor injuries and an investigation into the accident was opened.
