Turkey sends 15.6 tons of medical aid to Lebanon

Turkey has dispatched 15.6 tons of medical aid and pharmaceutical supplies to Lebanon to support the country during its ongoing humanitarian crisis. Turkish Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu announced that the shipment departed from the Mersin AFAD warehouse to assist with regional healthcare services.

The aid consists of 40 pallets containing a total of 181,295 items. This includes 34,965 units across 66 different types of medication, 145,830 units of 50 different types of medical consumables, and 500 units of various consumption materials. The assistance aims to address critical medical needs resulting from the displacement of over one million people in Lebanon.
