Turkey serves Tire Şiş Köfte at NATO summit

The geographically‑protected meatball dish from the town of Tire, known as Tire Şiş Köfte, was selected by TasteAtlas as the world’s best minced‑meat dish and added to the menu of the NATO summit hosted by Turkey. A large order was prepared at the Tire Milk Cooperative’s facilities and shipped to the summit venue for the world leaders.
