Turkey services exports reach record $124.9 billion in 2025
Turkey's services exports reached a record $124.9 billion in 2025, marking a 6.5% increase from the previous year. This performance exceeded the government's initial target of $121 billion and surpassed previous projections by the Central Bank.
Travel services remained the largest contributor, accounting for 48.1% of total services exports. Transportation services followed, representing 34.1% of the total. Notably, the telecommunications, computer, and information services sector saw significant growth, increasing by 25.3% to reach $6.724 billion.
On the import side, services imports rose by 9.6% to $61.9 billion. This resulted in a service trade surplus of $63 billion, which the Ministry of Trade noted contributes significantly to financing the current account deficit. Turkey currently ranks 22nd globally in services exports and holds the 6th position among countries with a service trade surplus.
