Turkey sets exam support and military academy selection dates

Kırıkkale University will provide free hot soup to students during the final‑exam week from 15 June to 26 June 2026, with nightly servings between 21:00 and 22:00 at the central library and the study hall opposite the faculty of medicine.

The nationwide Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) starts on 20 June 2026 with the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) at 10:15, drawing 2,425,560 candidates. The second day, 21 June, will hold the Field Proficiency Tests (AYT) at 10:15 for 1,628,200 examinees, followed by the Foreign Language Test (YDT) at 15:45. Results are scheduled for 22 July 2026.

The Turkish Military Academy (MSU) expects the announcement of its selection results in the third or fourth week of June 2026 via the Personnel Supply System. Candidates who advance will undergo a second‑stage assessment consisting of height‑weight checks and a physical fitness test (push‑ups, sit‑ups, 400‑m run) before proceeding to the academy.
