Turkey to establish Media and Information Literacy Clubs in schools
Turkey's Directorate of Communications, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, is establishing Media and Information Literacy Clubs in primary, middle, and high schools.
Burhanettin Duran, the Director of Communications, announced that the initiative is part of the Center for Combating Disinformation's efforts to increase social awareness. The program aims to protect students from digital threats, including disinformation, black propaganda, perception operations, and provocations.
The initiative seeks to foster analytical thinking and enable students to access accurate information and defend the truth in the digital age.
