Turkey to participate in 2027 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Cup draw

The opponents for the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team in the 2027 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Cup will be determined during a draw scheduled for Monday, October 26. The tournament will be hosted by the United States and Canada from August 20 to September 5, 2027.

Based on the FIVB world rankings from October 2, 2026, a “serpentine system” will be used to assign teams to groups. As the world number three, Turkey is set to occupy the first position in Group C. The tournament will feature 32 teams, with the top two teams from each group advancing to a knockout stage consisting of a round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and a final.

Group matches will take place in Montreal and Quebec City in Canada, as well as Omaha and Orlando in the United States. The final match is scheduled to be held at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Host nations USA and Canada, along with defending champions Italy, have qualified directly, while Switzerland will participate for the first time.
