Turkey tourism sector focuses on international expansion and growth
The Turkish tourism industry is intensifying its international marketing efforts through participation in major global trade events. The Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROB) will attend the World Travel Market (WTM) in London from November 3 to 5, 2026. Led by President Müberra Eresin, the delegation aims to strengthen existing contacts and explore new business opportunities, with a specific focus on increasing visitor numbers from the United Kingdom.
Simultaneously, the travel company World2Meet (W2M) is participating in the Antalya Tourism Fair (ATF). The company reported a 35% growth in its Bed Bank business in Turkey for 2026 compared to the previous year. W2M is also seeing a rise in average daily rates (ADR) and plans to host meetings with over 150 industry professionals to discuss the evolution of Turkish tourism, covering key destinations such as Antalya, Belek, Side, Alanya, the Aegean coast, and Istanbul.
