Turkey U18 Handball Team beaten 45-23 by Germany

Turkey's under‑18 men's handball team suffered a 45‑23 defeat to Germany in the final group match of the 2026 European U18 Men's Handball Championship held in Belgrade, Serbia. The loss followed earlier defeats to host Serbia (34‑25) and Italy (41‑23), leaving Turkey fourth in Group B while Germany and Serbia topped the group.

Germany took a 22‑10 lead at halftime and maintained control throughout the second half. Despite the heavy loss, Turkey will continue in the tournament's placement round, with upcoming matches against Sweden on 3 August and North Macedonia on 4 August to determine their final ranking.
