Turkey: Undecided voters rise amid corruption allegations

Recent corruption allegations, including municipal scandals and a significant fund embezzlement case, have led to a sharp increase in undecided voters in Turkey. Field reports from research organizations indicate that the rate of undecided voters has risen by approximately 15 percent over the last 15 days, reaching a total of around 35 percent.

The embezzlement scandal, which reportedly affects between 455,000 and one million individuals directly, has also caused significant losses in the stock market. Experts suggest that when accounting for market losses, between 5 and 20 million voters may be impacted. This situation has contributed to a decline in support for the AK Party and the Yeni Parti, with many former supporters moving into the undecided category rather than joining other political parties.
