Turkey warns of disinformation targeting Azerbaijan relations

The Disinformation Fight Center (DMM) has identified malicious content on social media and in certain international media outlets targeting the relationship between Turkey and Azerbaijan. The center described these posts as a perception operation intended to damage the deep-rooted ties between the two nations and undermine regional peace and stability.

According to the statement, the content specifically targets the strategic alliance and the ‘One Nation, Two States’ principle. The DMM characterized these efforts as psychological warfare aimed at misleading the public through manipulative rhetoric.

The center emphasized that the strategic partnership between Turkey and Azerbaijan, built on shared history and culture, remains steadfast. Officials urged the public to disregard such manipulative content and to rely solely on official statements from authorized government bodies to ensure national and regional stability.
