Turkey Wealth Fund to acquire Ziraat Katılım and Halk Katılım stakes
Ziraat Bankası and Halkbank have applied to transfer their 99.99% stakes in Ziraat Katılım and Halk Katılım to TVF Katılım Finans Yatırımları AŞ, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Turkey Wealth Fund (TVF).
The share transfer agreements were signed on October 7, 2026. This move is part of a strategic effort to consolidate state-owned participation finance institutions under a single umbrella to increase their capacity, competitiveness, and overall share within the financial markets.
The process is currently awaiting necessary legal and regulatory approvals. The full transfer of shares is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
