Turkey academic exam results and dormitory applications update

Various academic and examination processes are currently underway in Turkey. Following the conclusion of the 2026 YKS preference period on August 10, candidates are awaiting university placement results. While an official date has not been announced by ÖSYM, expectations suggest results may be released by August 23, ahead of the university registration period scheduled for August 24–28.

Regarding student housing, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has not yet opened the 2026–2027 KYK dormitory application process. Applications are expected to begin in late August or early September via e-Devlet, following the announcement of YKS placement results.

Other examination updates include the 2026 DGS results, which were scheduled for release on August 13, and the ALES/2 results, which are set to be announced on August 21. Additionally, Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler expressed readiness to welcome new students following the completion of the preference process.
