Turkey sets 2026 judicial holiday dates, awaits judge interview results and holds judge reassignment ceremony

The Turkish Ministry of Justice has not yet released the official date for publishing the results of the 2026 judge and prosecutor assistant interviews, leaving candidates in continued waiting.

The 2026 judicial holiday is scheduled to begin on Monday, 20 July and end at the close of business on Monday, 31 August, a 43‑day break after which normal court operations resume on 1 September.

On 29 June 2026, the Judges and Prosecutors Council (HSK) organised a farewell ceremony at the Istanbul Courthouse for judges and public prosecutors reassigned under the 2026 Main Judiciary Decree, presenting them with commemorative plaques.
