Turkey's 2026 KPSS exam held with 1.7 million participants

The 2026 KPSS Undergraduate General Ability-General Culture session was held on September 6, with 1,708,329 candidates participating across 145 examination centers in 81 Turkish provinces and Nicosia. To ensure accessibility, candidates with disabilities were granted up to 30 minutes of additional time to complete the 120 multiple-choice questions.

Following the conclusion of the exam, unverified claims circulated on social media suggesting the exam might be canceled. However, ÖSYM has not issued any such decision. The institution has already published the Basic Question Booklet and Answer Key for the session, and the scheduled Field Knowledge exams are set to proceed on September 12 and 13.
