Turkey's ÖSYM releases 2026 YKS entrance documents for candidates

Turkey’s Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) opened access to the entrance documents for the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) on 10 June 2026. Candidates can download their documents via the Aday İşlemleri Sistemi (AIS) at https://ais.osym.gov.tr using their national ID number and password. The documents specify the exam center, building and room for the three YKS sessions: the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) on 20 June and the Field Proficiency Tests (AYT) plus the Foreign Language Test (YDT) on 21 June, with start times at 10:15 am for TYT and AYT and 3:45 pm for YDT.

Heavy traffic caused temporary slowdowns and error messages on the AIS platform as over two million candidates attempted to retrieve their documents simultaneously. ÖSYM advised using its mobile app or the e‑Devlet integration as alternative access points. The system was expected to normalize later in the day and full document access was slated to be completed within the day. YKS results are scheduled for 22 July 2026, after which university placement procedures will commence.
