Turkey's agricultural producer price index rises 9.55% YoY in June 2026
Turkey's statistical agency reported that the Agricultural Producer Price Index (Tarım‑ÜFE) increased 9.55% year‑on‑year in June 2026, while falling 9.02% from the previous month. Compared with December 2025 the index was up 7.73%, and it was 37.44% higher than the twelve‑month average.
Sector‑level changes showed a 9.57% monthly decline for agriculture and hunting products, a 2.14% drop for forestry, and a 0.18% decrease for fisheries. Over the year, prices for one‑year (non‑perennial) plant products fell 15.55%, perennials fell 10.30%, while live animal and animal product prices rose 1.49%.
The largest annual increase was recorded in vegetables, melons, and root crops (+60.71%), whereas the steepest monthly decline occurred in tropical and subtropical fruits (‑27.64%).
