Turkey's Agriculture Minister Ibrahim Yumaklı Announces Major Farm Investment in Seydikemer, Muğla

Agriculture Minister İbrahim Yumaklı visited Seydikemer district in Muğla Province and outlined a programme to raise the region's agricultural output. He said the Organize Tarım Bölgesi (Organised Agricultural Zone) will receive budget allocation from 2027, focusing on dairy production and supporting crops such as pomegranates and olives that are already exported across Turkey and abroad.

The project is expected to create about 1,500 jobs, with roughly three quarters of the positions earmarked for women. Yumaklı highlighted that the initiative will improve the balance between land protection and use, increase employment opportunities and strengthen the supply chain for both domestic markets and export destinations.
