Turkey's Agriculture Ministry opens recruitment for 1,874 staff
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced a recruitment drive for 1,874 contract employees to staff its regional offices. Applications will be accepted online from 27 July to 9 August 2026 via the e‑Devlet Career Portal; paper or in‑person submissions will not be considered.
The hiring quota covers engineers, veterinarians, support and office personnel, security staff, ship crew, lawyers, laboratory technicians, biologists and other technical roles. Candidates must meet the 2024 KPSS score requirements, with a minimum of 50 points for bachelor‑level applicants and 60 points for associate‑degree candidates; ship‑crew positions are assessed through a practical exam rather than KPSS.
Minister Ibrahim Yumaklı said the new hires aim to boost the ministry’s capacity in the provinces and support agricultural production. Results will be posted on the ministry’s website and accessible through the same online portal.
