Turkey's broadcasters roll out free streaming and satellite updates for 2026 FIFA World Cup

Turkish Telecom is preparing its Tivibu GO app to let mobile customers watch the national football team’s 2026 FIFA World Cup matches without consuming data. Features such as “Her Yerden İzle” (Watch from Anywhere), replay, and the ability to save up to 6,000 minutes for 90 days will be offered free of charge.

At the same time, TRT has published updated Türksat 4A satellite parameters for TRT 1 and TRT Spor, ensuring unencrypted, uninterrupted reception of the tournament, which begins on 11 June. Viewers are advised to set the frequency to 11794 MHz, vertical polarization, symbol rate 30 000, and FEC 3/4.

Both initiatives aim to provide Turkish football fans with seamless, data‑free access to every World Cup match, regardless of location or device.
