Turkey dental faculty graduation ceremony poster competition research awards

Dokuz Eylül University (DEÜ) held its inaugural dental faculty graduation ceremony for the 2025‑2026 academic year on 15 July at the Health Campus Conference Hall. The ceremony included the Hippocratic oath, speeches by Rector Prof. Dr. Bayram Yılmaz and Dean Prof. Dr. Aliye Akcalı, and recognition of the top graduate Erdinç Uğur Karataş.

Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University (AFSÜ) organized a scientific poster competition for dental students as part of the "Scientific Research Methods" course. Thirty‑six posters were presented, and a jury awarded first‑place honors to a research poster under Dr. Özge Özütürk Tokman, with additional prizes for second, third, best review and best case‑study works.

Both events highlighted the growing research activity and professional milestones within Turkey's dental education sector.
