Turkey's District Agriculture Offices Inspect Livestock in Düzce and Elazığ

In Düzce's Yığılca district, the local Agriculture and Forestry Directorate carried out field work that included ear‑tagging, identification, and vaccination against peste des petits ruminants (PPR) for small ruminants, followed by a farm compliance inspection.

In Elazığ's Ağın district, the same type of directorate inspected large‑cattle enterprises, reviewing capacity reports, animal housing conditions, health‑disease control measures and providing guidance to owners. Both programmes aim to prevent contagious animal diseases, improve record‑keeping and ensure that livestock operations meet regulatory standards.
