Turkey's Diyanet releases 31 July 2026 Friday sermon on halal‑haram

The Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) published the official Friday sermon (hutbe) to be read in Turkish mosques on 31 July 2026. The sermon’s theme is “Helal haram duyarlılığı” (halal‑haram awareness). It explains that the concepts of halal and haram are not limited to food but also apply to trade, family life, digital conduct, public responsibility and waste.
