Turkey's DMM denies claims regarding law proposal timing

The Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) has denied claims that the ‘Law Proposal on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration’ was intentionally introduced to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) to coincide with the anniversary of the Treaty of Sèvres.

In a statement, the DMM characterized these allegations as baseless provocations intended to manipulate public opinion and undermine national unity. The center emphasized that the TBMM's legislative schedule follows constitutional procedures and that attempting to link the timing to symbolic historical dates is an act of bad faith. The DMM further stated that the law proposal is a historic step aimed at reinforcing the national front and strengthening social cohesion within the framework of a ‘Terror-free Turkey’ goal.
