Placements are automatically generated from the MERNIS address database, so no separate application is required. To use the service, users log into the e‑Devlet portal and search for “İlköğretim Okulları Adrese Göre Kayıt Okulu Sorgulama (e‑Kayıt)” to view the assigned school.

The announcement also outlines the 2026‑2027 school calendar. Teacher preparation begins on 1 September 2026, the first term starts on 14 September 2026, and the year ends on 25 June 2027. Key holidays include a mid‑term break (16‑20 November 2026), a winter break (25 January – 5 February 2027), and several other term breaks. Parents are advised to note these dates after checking their child's school assignment.
