Turkey's Minister of National Education, Yusuf Tekin, attended the 9th Turkic States Education Ministers Meeting in Turkistan, Kazakhstan. He held bilateral talks with Kyrgyzstan's Education Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva and Azerbaijan's Science and Education Minister Emin Emrullayev, focusing on deepening cooperation in education.

The ministers discussed joint projects, including the development of an artificial‑intelligence‑supported curriculum, collaboration on a 12‑year basic education transition in Kyrgyzstan, and the distribution of a new geography textbook to 18 million students. Tekin highlighted Turkey's "Turkey Century Education Model" and its AI‑driven teaching programmes, noting recognition from the OECD and offering Turkey’s experience to other member states.

Both sides emphasized the role of education in strengthening ties among Turkic countries and pledged to pursue shared initiatives in AI, curriculum development, and cultural‑historical resources.
